Douwe Egberts and Redcup – a match made in coffee heaven

 

Here’s the story.

Once upon a time there was a big world-famous coffee brand and a little local coffee company. As the old adage says, opposites attract.

We at Redcup liked Douwe Egberts because they make nice coffee. Coffee of such renown that it brings more customers into restaurants and coffee shops. And that is so tasty, it keeps them coming back for more. We also liked them because their machines work well, leaving us time to pursue our eccentric little projects like recycling our customers’ used coffee grounds as anti-slug pellets.

They liked us because we know about nice coffee and we are good at helping people sell more. And because we make sure every restaurant, conference centre, coffee shop, hotel, pub, hospital, school, petrol station, bingo hall, train, party boat, football stadium, bowling alley and dog track on our books is properly looked after.

So we decided to get it together. And now foodservice customers all over England have more gold in their coffers and everyone is living happily ever after.
